Before I go on about the last gif in the tags, let me just talk about THEIR FACES in the first gif. Because.

she smiles, and it’s this excited, nervous,

EXCITED smile

and he’s watching her

and when she first moves in a little he squints at her a tiny bit like,

‘oh, really?’

like he’s surprised and intrigued

and then his smile fades a tiny bit as he leans in

because now he sees where it’s going

and he likes it

and then they kiss

and okay, it’s not like the most spectacular kiss of all kisses, but it’s sweet and they just fit together really nicely

and she’s just thinking, ‘I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna do it, I’m gonna do it’ and she does and it’s nice and he kisses back

there’s this teeny little moment where she realizes that in the middle

it’s not just this tiny little peck on the lips, it’s a real, two-person kiss

see, he tips his chin out a little bit at the end

like he’s about to change angles and keep going

but she pulls back because she was on her tiptoes and she couldn’t quite balance like that

not like, oh, our kiss made my ankles weak, but like, she’s in heels and it’s hard to balance on your toes while kissing a tall man okay?

so there’s this pause and she looks up at him and her face is so fantastic like, ‘well?’

AND HIS FACE

HIS FACE IS JUST

and his whole face gets a little dark and a lot intent and he steps back in

(whilst grabbing her around the waist, which is freaking beautiful)

AND THEN THE MOST SPECTACULAR KISS OF ALL KISSES HAPPENS
